My name is Jenny Stoddard, and I was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. I spent my youth playing outdoors from morning till night and doing crafts like painting, drawing, or whatever I could get my hands on. That didn't change as I got older. For those times when we can't be where we want to be, my art can help fill that void. I want to create a whole world inside each piece. Many of my pieces are heavily inspired by the beautiful state of Michigan, and all are nature inspired to bring the outdoors in. These days I still cannot narrow my favorite medium down to one, so why not leave the options completely open and endless. I generally use some form of a mix of wood, resin, beading, painting, macrame and dried flora/fauna, often found on my countless adventures, depending on the needs of each little portal.
